I Was Offered Sh 2 billion by Uhuru to Dump Raila Odinga- Kalonzo’s Bombshell

Over the weekend, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka revealed that men associated with President Uhuru Kenyatta approached him and tried to offer him money so that he can ditch CORD coalition for Jubilee Alliance.



Kalonzo, who was speaking at a fundraiser in Kathiani where he was accompanied by Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, told Jubilee members that he is not for sale and that they should instead use the money to uplift the lives of Kenyans.

“I am not ready to receive money (from Jubilee) that is a poisoned chalice which they try to offer me with conditions. My morality cannot be compromised,” Kalonzo said adding that he is a devoted Christian, who cannot be bribed to betray Raila Odinga like what Judas Iscariot did to Jesus Christ.

Sources within Wiper Democratic Movement said the former VP was offered sh 2 billion to ditch CORD for Jubilee Alliance.

He was also promised the position of Speaker of the National Assembly or Leader of Majority in Parliament.

“He was offered the money and even urged to send his account so that the money can be wired from CBK,” a close wiper National Executive Council (NEC) official said.

The official said some Wiper MPs accepted the money and they are the ones who are telling Kalonzo to go for the Presidency in 2017 to destabilize CORD coalition.
