Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s ODM has launched an initiative to sensitize youths across the country, especially in CORD’s strongholds, to take up IDs and register as voters in large numbers to ensure Raila wins the 2017 General Elections.

The former PM, with the help of ODM Secretary General, Ababu Namwamba, launched the Toklezea ID initiative in Kisumu today for youths to take up IDs and voters’ cards to send President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, to the Opposition in 2017.

The initiative will be popularized across the country with CORD leaders taking a leading role in sensitizing youths on the importance of taking IDs and voting for Raila Odinga.

Speaking at the launch, Raila fired a warning salvo at Uhuru/ Ruto, telling them to prepare for a gruesome battle in 2017 because he is coming in hot this time and is not ready to lose again.

The initiative is already causing ripples at State House with Jubilee spin doctors said to be going back to the drawing board to counter the move that may just see Uhuru/ Ruto out of power in the next election.
