Re-born singer, Size 8, claims that she can’t perform for less than Ksh 200,000 even after denying that she crossed over to the gospel industry because of money.

The energetic singer, who is among the artists accused of tainting the image of the gospel industry, claims that she is a trend-setter in the music industry and that’s why she deserves more pay.

If it’s a corporate event, she charges an extra Ksh 150,000 making her one of the most expensive artists in Kenya.

The Mateke hit maker claims that if it’s an out of town event, she has to fly in business class, pay her accommodation in a VIP room and also cater for her two bodyguards.

And when she is performing, you have to supply her with Dasani water because she doesn’t drink any other brand.

Size 8’s sentiments come at a time when gospel artists are being criticized for putting money first instead of preaching God’s word.  For Size 8, most of her performances are more of entertainment than preaching.

She uses secular beats to woo the crowd and some of  her moves on stage are questionable.
