StudentShaking your behind and waist have been part of the African culture for a long time with names like ‘chakacha’ being part of our vocabulary.
But the latest form of dancing, twerking has taken not only the world but Africa by storm.
It has however not been reserved for socialites, strippers and adults in the club. Young girls are now engaging in this with high school gilds twerking at ‘funkies’(are they still called that ?) much to the ire of their teachers.
A few girls engaged in the dance that involves shaking your butt in a sexually suggestive way much to the excitement of the crowd that was watching below. What is happening to our kids?
