The 41 students from various secondary schools in Kirinyaga, who had hired the bus to Nairobi after closing schools, were arrested by police after a tip off from members of the public, who suspected something weird about the bus and its occupants.
Police officers from Sagana Traffic Police base swung into action and intercepted the 33-seater bus which was loaded with over 41 students.
The police were shocked by what they saw as they found students intoxicated with b@ang and openly having s*x at random.
After a thorough search, the police recovered several rolls of bh@ng, tobacco and match boxes hidden in one of the girl’s private parts.
According to Jadidah Nyawira, a resident who witnessed the incident, she spotted the bus at Kibirigwi trading center and noted that it had loud music and was occupied by heavily intoxicated students who were misbehaving publicly.
Kirinyaga County Director of Education, Elizabeth Karani, confirmed the despicable incident and vowed take up the matter with relevant authorities.
The students were locked up at Kiangwachi Police Patrol Base in Kirinyaga.
