While delivering the ruling, Limuru Senior Magistrate, Timothy Tanchu, said that he released the controversial Pastor on bail because the court’s Prosecution failed to provide sufficient reasons why Ng’ang’a should be denied bail as he had cooperated with the police during the entire period of investigations.
Ng’ang’a, who appeared confused after his release, was seen shaking his head as an army of journalists tried to compete on who will take the best shot of the charlatan Pastor.
Speaking to journalists after his 2 day incarceration at Gigiri Police Station, Ng’ang’a used the Kikuyu language to communicate and said, “Ngai mohere tondu matiuyi uria marekaga. (God forgive them because they don’t know what they were doing,”
He also requested a police officer who was by his side to give him two minutes so that he can pray.
When he was released, a mammoth crowd of his supporters waved placards threatening police officers who arrested Ng'ang'a.
“The Bible says never touch the anointed,” one of the placards read.
Ng’ang’a, who has a huge following in Nairobi, said he will deliver a big testimony on Sunday and asked his congregation to turn in large numbers to hear his prophetic message.
