A rape case in which a Jubilee Alliance MP is accused of raping a woman has taken a new dimension after two independent medical reports indicated that there was no evidence of sexual contact between him and the victim.

According to reports from the Government chemist and Nairobi Women’s Hospital, Imenti Central MP, Gideon Mwiti, never raped that woman as Kenyans have been made to believe.

The reports indicated that there was no evidence of s*xual contact between Mwiti and his accuser, a middle aged married Nairobi woman.

The Government Chemist said that they collected samples to determine the presence of semen, spermatozoa, blood, hair or fiber and all tests produced negative results.

Nairobi Women’s Hospital Laboratory Technician, Benson Mwangi, said he took samples of urine and High Vaginal Swabs Microscopy and according to his final report, there was no evidence of spermatozoa from the blood and urine samples from the complainant.

Mwiti was charged that he raped a married woman and intimidated her on March 21, 2015 at Tana Club in Westlands.
In what can be termed as the hunter becoming the hunted, Mwiti has now vowed to sue the woman for damaging his name and reputation.
