Former Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka, told Jubilee Alliance supporters to stop peddling propaganda that CORD coalition will collapse when they name the Presidential flag bearer.<br />

Speaking in Kariobangi Grounds on Saturday as he drummed support for the Okoa Kenya Initiative, Kalonzo, who is also the Wiper Democratic Movement party leader, said he will not ditch CORD even if  former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga or Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, win the CORD coalition ticket.<br />

“We are a united team and we are ready to support whoever who will win the ticket,” Kalonzo told CORD coalition supporters.<br />
<br />
Kalonzo also said the Opposition is not ready to go to the next elections with the current Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) as constituted.<br />
<br />
“We, as the opposition, are not ready to go to the poll with the same IEBC. We are going to boycott the poll if the commission is not disbanded,” Kalonzo said.<br />
<br />
He said the Okoa Kenya Referendum Bill gives clear guidelines of an electoral body which will guarantee sanctity of the vote.<br />

A section of Orange Democratic Movement MPs were overheard saying that  former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, must avoid repeating the mistakes he made in the 2013 General Elections that may have resulted into his loss of the Presidency to Uhuru Kenyatta.<br />
<br />
Speaking at the sidelines of the CORD Parliamentary Group Meeting at the Bomas of Kenya on Saturday, the MPs who many were from Luo Nyanza said Raila must pick a running mate who will bring more than 2 million votes on board.<br />
<br />
“Raila must kick a running mate who will add something into his basket. Last time, he picked somebody who brought nothing on the table,” the MP said.<br />
<br />
However, some of the MPs suggested that Raila Odinga should pick United Democratic Forum party leader, Musalia Mudavadi, as his running mate because he has the support of over 3 million Luhyas.<br />
<br />
But other ODM sources said Raila has kept the issue of the running mate a close guarded secret because he knows very well that it might jeopardize the coalition’s unity.<br />
