Veronica Muthoni Mwirichia, a member of the Meru County Executive Committee in charge of Culture, Youth, Sports and Social Services, sued the County Government for sh9.1 million in form of compensation for wrongful dismissal in November 2014.
However, in Munya’s reply to the court, he said that he fired Veronica because she was becoming a nuisance.
He said Veronica put herself in a class of her own and demanded more than she was supposed to from him.
Besides, she used her good-looking appearance to look down upon her colleagues at the County Executive Committees, as well as used her position to bully her juniors.
“She created a bossy and fearful environment in her office and expected lavish trappings as opposed to service delivery and humility,” said Munya.
The Meru Governor also revealed that Veronica refused a car that he gave her and demanded a more expensive car that befitted her ‘status’. That notwithstanding, the s*xy Veronica also gave her husband full authority to give orders to employees at the County Government offices despite not being an employee himself.
“I also received complaints from officers in her department that her husband who was not a County employee was giving directives against regulations,” said the Governor.
