The singer who will be hosting his fans and fellow celebs at Carnivore this Sunday to celebrate 10 years since his journey began and launch his new album, says his success was not a stroke of luck.
He in fact invoked hard work and his trust in God as the key instruments to achieving it.
"If you truly trust in God and work towards a vision, you will surely succeed. I haven’t been playing church here. A lot of work has gone down in this and I can only thank God for giving me the wisdom, energy and grace to get this far. To Him be the glory. Sometimes we just want to get the shortcut to get there. Sometimes we just want to be like so and so yet we are not willing to invest to get there. This is the secret many artistes don’t use. Success is not an overnight drill," he said.
His career has been decorated with awards and we believe there is more where that came from.
