Speaking yesterday, Kikuyu Council of Elders threatened to pelt Obama with rotten eggs if he supports gays and lesbians on his Kenyan tour.
Senior Council member, Samuel Thuita, said gayism is not only blasphemy but unacceptable in African customs and norms. Besides, the Bible does not allow same sex marriage.
He vowed to mobilize old wazees, women and youths from Mt. Kenya to pelt Obama with rotten eggs the same way Britain did to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s father, Jomo, in London when he advocated for independence.
“The founding father of the nation, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, was pelted with rotten eggs in Britain for only agitating for our independence. I will mobilize and lead every member of the council, including women and the youth, and Kenyans in general to throw rotten eggs at Obama if he dares introduce the gay and lesbian debate,” said Thuita.
