Yemen-based militants, ISIS, could be making their way into Kenya to help their counterparts in Somalia - Al Shabaab - to decimate Kenyans and extend their Islamic dominance in the region, or so it appears.

This was revealed by investigators after the arrest of four women Halima Aden, Myriam Said, Khadija Abubakar and Ummui Khayar, who were caught while trying to sneak into Somalia to join Al Shabaab terrorists.

State lawyer, Eugene Wangila, pleaded with the court yesterday to deny the four any bail because they have links with ISIS and could disappear to Yemen if allowed to walk free, a move he said could be disastrous for the country.

He said the four were working with both Al Shabaab and ISIS and warned that the Yemen militants could be making their way into Kenya to join forces with Al Shabaab.

“The accused have links to ISIS in Syria and Sudan. If any is to reach Syria, it will be hard to get them even with our police and diplomatic relations because it is a State that operates under life support,” said Wangila.
