WAIGURU is still the most popular candidate for Nairobi Governor – SONKO comes second

Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Miss Anne Waiguru, is still the most favourite candidate to win the Nairobi gubernatorial seat if elections are held today, a new poll has shown.

According to the poll, Waiguru, who has a combination of beauty and brains, trounced Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, and fading Nairobi Governor, Dr Evans Kidero.

The poll which met all the scientific criteria used in research was conducted between January 17 and Jan 23 where over 7,800 respondents voted on their best choice for Governor.

In the poll, Waiguru garnered 38 percent of the total votes with Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, coming second with 23 percent. Nairobi Governor, Dr Evans Kidero, emerged third with only 20 percent.

Businessman Jimnah Mbaru came fourth with 14 percent, while former Embakasi MP, Ferdinand Waititu, garnered 4 percent of the total votes cast.

Mike Sonko stands a good chance of becoming the Nairobi Governor only if Waiguru does not go for it.
