There is however a conspiracy surrounding the two cars. The owner of the vehicles was importing the cars to D.R Congo through Kenya.

The cars reached Congo and got registered there and were being imported back to Kenya to be sold here when they were impounded by revenue officers at Busia border.

According to one clearing and forwarding agent in Busia who spoke to Ghafla! On condition of anonymity, the two high-end European made sports cars plus a British-made Rolls Royce were impounded by revenue officers because they were more than seven years old.

Kenyan laws forbids importation of motor vehicles that are more than seven year old. The clearing agent told Ghafla! that the owner of the posh cars have seen sort to return them to Germany where they reportedly came from.
