There was drama at Integrity House on Friday morning when Nairobi County Government Chief Finance Officer Jimmy Kiamba faked sudden sickness during grilling by anti graft officials to avoid detention.

Kiambaa reportedly urinated on himself, released his waste and vomited on the floor to signal his sudden illness which proved beneficial to him since the EACC detectives couldn’t peservere the foul smell from Kiambaa’s waste in the grilling room at Integrity House.

According to sources at EACC Kiamba is under probe for embezzlement of millions of shillings at City Hall. Kiambaa was exposed after an audio recording of him and Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko revealed that the corrupt City Hall official attempted to bribe Sonko to stop exposing corrupt deals at City Hall under the watch of Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero.

The Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission has already frozen several bank accounts belonging to Kiamba. The multiple accounts containing over 180 million shillings were closed as detectives seek to establish the existence of an alleged corruption network that has been siphoning millions of shillings from city hall through fictious payments.

Kiamba has allegedly been making huge deposits running into millions of shillings in secret bank accounts from undisclosed sources. Two other senior officials at city hall including the county secretary Lilian Ndegwa and chief of staff Goerge Wainaina who was a sugar distributor at Mumius sugar have also been grilled by the anti-corruption detectives.

The move comes barely days after Sonko tabled a dossier implicating several City Hall officials and Governor Kidero in alleged corrupt dealings
