For weeks now, Paul Kobia has had his fair share of drama on social media now that his timeline is active.<br />

Early this year, Kobia created a scene at a club in Hurlingham when he shouted that he is the one who killed Fidel Odinga but the police said he is a mental case.<br />

I have been married for 10+ years and thought I was happily married till some weeks ago. From the fourth year into my marriage my mom advised us to take on 2 female relatives. One was 22 and the other 13 at that time. In 2010, we noticed that the older of the girls had become so close to my husband to the point that anyone could easily conclude they were intimate. She became rude to me but got closer to my husband and he never saw anything wrong with her attitude. He would take her to school  and pick her up regularly. He would gladly buy the exact items for her and myself whenever he traveled. Several times he gave her large sums without my consent or knowledge but thankfully it all came out through her mom. He blurted out once that she had STD and I was quite embarrassed that he would know that about her if nothing was going on. In the end we decided she couldn’t go on living in my house and my mom came to take her away her even though my husband kicked against it furiously. The younger one stayed on and that is now my greatest undoing.<br />

She grew up quickly and she is now 20 and in her second year in University. She recently sent her Dad  a suicide message stating that she was going to kill herself if she is allowed to continue staying with us. Her dad has now called me to say he followed up with the suicide message and she confided in him that my husband dis-v!rg!ned her at 15 and had continued to sleep with her till she put up some resistance late last year. She said he is also with her roommate and claimed to have seen a message from the girl to my husband implicating him. She also said that she had caught my husband and the older girl that left in 2010 in suspicious positions before the girl was sent away.<br />
<br />
I have confronted him with all these and he is not giving tangible reasons to disbelieve the girl. Truth is I know he did these things because of other things the girl told me that I have since confirmed one of which is that he brought a stray girl (18 yrs) into our home under the guise that she was a distant cousin’s daughter. It turned out he met her randomly and merely chatted her up.<br />

My Pastors have intervened and told me all these are true but that “he is a man and will never openly admit it now”. They are asking me to let go for the sake of my children and the marriage. I am however upset that he will get off this easily and the innocent girl will not get justice. Should I cover his sins and appeal to the girl’s father who has indicated that he will do as I advise or should I insist that he is made to apologize to the girl? I keep thinking what if she is my own daughter!! I am at my wits end trying to figure out if I should act as a wife or a mother! Will a good wife cover her husband’s sins???

This woman above, 28 year old Hayley Haynes, was genetically born a man and was told she would never conceive. Hayley Haynes was born without a womb, ovaries or fallopian tubes. At 19, doctors told her she had XY chromosomes which genetically makes her male and that she would never conceive.<br />

Throughout puberty she did not have periods, and doctors later discovered she had no reproductive<br />
organs thanks to a condition called androgen insensitivity syndrome.<br />
<br />
'When they told me I had no womb, I was so confused I felt sick. My biggest fear was never having children,' she told the Daily Mirror.<br />
'Suddenly a huge piece of my life was missing. I felt like half a woman and was embarrassed. How I was going to tell a guy I was genetically male when I started dating?'<br />
Mrs Haynes, now 28, said she was devastated that she would never have children of her own – and told her childhood friend Sam, who later became her husband: 'No man will want me.<br />
<br />
However, a ray of hope came in 2007 when a new specialist at Royal Derby Hospital found a tiny womb missed on previous scans. 'It was only a few millimetres, but it was a start,' said Mrs Haynes, from Bedford.<br />
'He was optimistic it would grow. I still couldn't conceive naturally but I could have the option of IVF.'<br />
The first step was a course of hormone tablets to give her the right levels of progesterone and oestrogen, which would stop her suffering osteoporosis and create an environment in which her womb could grow.<br />
<br />
In 2011, Mrs Haynes was told her womb was ready for IVF – but was dealt another blow when she was told her local NHS trust would not fund it. Determined not to give up, the couple paid £10,500 – more than half their savings – for IVF treatment and flights to a clinic in Cyprus in April.<br />
'I was so nervous. We only had one shot and couldn't afford to go through it all again,' Mrs Haynes said. 'I desperately wanted to be a mother and knew if there were no viable eggs or the implantation wasn't successful, I'd be distraught.'<br />
Doctors told her she had only a 60 per cent chance of pregnancy – so when two tests came back positive, she was ecstatic.<br />
<br />
And when Mrs Haynes went for her six-week scan, it was a shock to discover both eggs had taken and she was expecting non-identical twins.<br />
 'I couldn't believe it', she said. 'I freaked out, but I was over the moon at the same time. I had the chance to have a complete family.'<br />
Mr Haynes, also 28, added: 'I felt numb with excitement. It was two for the price of one.'<br />
<br />
Nine years after hearing the crushing news that she would never be a mother, Mrs Haynes gave birth to Avery and Darcey. She said:<br />
'Becoming a mother was the single most amazing moment of my life. When I held the babies in my arms for the first time, I was overwhelmed.'<br />

<b>National Schools in Western Kenya have been forced by the Ministry of Education to admit students from other regions who scored below 50 percent in the KCPE exams into Form One, the Star has established.</b><br />
<br />
Bunyore Girls, Kakamega High School, Lugulu Girls and Friends Kamusinga have enrolled students with marks as low as 211 and 214, although they are National Schools supposed to accept the high-performers.<br />
<br />
The marks in question are well below the pass mark for entry into a National School.<br />
<br />
The exact reasons for the skewed admission and bias were not stated.<br />
<br />
This admission of low-performers locks out deserving students who scored more than 400 marks.<br />
<br />
The schools’ boards of management have been unsuccessful in seeking redress from the County Education Commissioners because the Form One selection was done in Nairobi.<br />
<br />
A survey by The Star revealed that more than 70 students from Nyeri and Karatina, with marks as low as 214 marks, have been admitted to Friends School Kamusinga, a National School in Bungoma county.<br />
<br />
Most of the 70 students scored less than 350 marks.<br />
<br />
Admission of pupils with average to sub-par marks questions the ideal of meritocracy, denying excellent students the schools of their choice.<br />
<br />
Chairman of the Board of Management of Friends School Kamusinga Professor Noah Sitati yesterday said they were helpless. He regretted the preferential selection of students who got low marks will erode standards of National Schools.<br />
<br />
“One admitted student got 214 marks in the KCPE exam. That’s a failure. Those less than 350 marks are about two streams. Being a National School, we get students from anywhere but to get a student with 214 marks is outrageous,” Prof Sitati said.<br />
<br />
The chairman said such students could have difficulty being admitted to a County school let alone a national school.<br />
<br />
“This means that county and district schools are getting better students, while national schools are getting the worst,” Prof Sitati said. Standards will fall, he predicted, pupils will not be motivated and competition will die.<br />
<br />
“We have protested to the County Education Commissioner but nothing can be done because the process is controlled from the Ministry headquarters in Nairobi. Very good children with good marks have been left out. What do we do with those who passed well and deserve to be admitted to national schools?” Prof Sitati asked?<br />
<br />
He said Education Cabinet Secretary Professor Jacob Kaimenyi should fix the mess.<br />

Nairobi senator has pulled a first one on haters by becoming the first kenyan citizen to officially own a customized number plate here in Kenya. His registration number is christened SONKO1.<br />

Sonko made the statutory payment to KRA three weeks ago and on 30th January 2015 the registrar of motor vehicle issued the customized number plate to the flamboyant senator<br />
I’m the first ever kenyan to be issued with registered customized number plates by Registrar of motor vehicles whose head office is in the Times Towers building, Sonko told journalists at his KICC office.<br />

The plates were handed over to me by the deputy registrar of motor vehicles Mr. John Muya on Friday 30th January 2015 after payment of a fee of 1m to KRA three weeks ago the flamboyant senator added.<br />
<br />
As the number plate was being fixed on the car by KRA officials hundreds of curious onlookers who were in the vicinity of Times towers gathered and started cheering their feel good senator.<br />
<br />

<b>PRESIDENT Uhuru Kenyatta for the first time has spoken about his former Interior CS Joseph ole Lenku, describing him in an emotional meeting as as an “embarrassment” to his government and the country.</b><br />
<br />
Kenyatta sacked Lenku on December 2 and replaced him with former Kajiado Central MP Joseph Nkaissery. Both men are Maasai.<br />
<br />
The firing followed a series of terrorist attacks and insecurity since Lenku took over in 2013, the latest being massacres in Mandera county by al-Shabaab militia that claimed at least 64 lives.<br />
<br />
At the same time, the President accepted the resignation of Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo, also widely criticised for security failures.<br />
<br />
Kenyatta had some positive words about Kimaiyo when he departed, but he said nothing about Lenku who had lost the public’s confidence.<br />
<br />
The President spoke candidly about Lenku on Monday when he met a delegation of mostly Maasai leaders from Kajiado at State House, Nairobi, to discuss the upcoming Kajiado byelection on March 16 to replace Nkaissery.<br />
<br />
Those in attendance included Nkaissery, Jubilee chief Whip Katoo ole Metito, Kajiado East MP Peris Tobiko, Kajiado Senator Peter Mositet, Kajiado county Assembly Speaker John Osoi, Josiah Tarayia Kores, Kenya Meat Commission Chairman; politician,Solomon Kinyanjui, Kajiado Central aspirant Patrick Tutui (the Jubilee Alliance Party choice and several MCAs.<br />
<br />
Uhuru, according to sources in the two-hour meeting, told Jubilee chief whip Katoo ole Metito; “I am very embarrassed with you. I never knew Joseph ole Lenku, you brought him to me and he caused embarrassment to the nation.”<br />
<br />
The President is reported to have said Lenku failed to perform and accused Metito of misleading him into hiring a person he knew was totally unsuited for the job.<br />
<br />
Metito, a former Internal Security minister, is reported to have asked Uhuru to nominate Lenku to the position soon after elections in 2013. Lenku was nominated in May.<br />
<br />
Yesterday neither Metito nor Lenku responded to calls and text messages seeking comment.<br />
<br />
It is said Uhuru summoned the leaders to State House after they failed to agree on one candidate before the Jubilee Alliance Party nominated Patrick ole Tutui last week.<br />
<br />
The President is also said to have told off Kores, chairman of the Kenya Meat Commission, for “letting me down”.<br />
<br />
He was quoted by a source as saying: “You are no better. You are taking me and the Jubilee Alliance for granted. I gave you a chopper in the last general election to use in the campaigns but you also caused the party to lose the Kajiado Central parliamentary seat and that of governor.<br />
<br />
“I told you to step down for Peter Mositet so Mositet could run for governor’s seat so you could go for the senate seat, but you refused. I am being told you are bragging the Jubilee coalition is your personal property in Kajiado. I do not entertain such nonsense anymore, this party does not belong to you,” an angry Kenyatta is said to have told Kores.<br />
<br />
The President is said to have taken on Kores after Solomon Kinyanjui, who also vied for the senate seat and lost in the last general election, stood up and accused the politician of high-handedness in running of party affairs in Kajiado.<br />
<br />
Kinyanjui told the President that one of the difficulties of persuading people to join the Jubilee Alliance is people like Kores and others who are use the party as their personal property.<br />
<br />
Earlier, Nkaissery had declined to attend the meeting until Purko MCA Samuel Kipaika was removed — the two men do not get along. After consulting Nkaissery, the President asked Kipaika to leave. Other MCAS attending the highly charged meeting included Josiah Toshi, Lesalaon Seki, Joseph Mutunkei and Ntintinyo ole Sere.<br />

Nairobi Senator Mike Mbivi Sonko has said he is ‘not worried’ about Daily Post ‘polls’ which have consistently put Devolution cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru ahead of him in the race for Nairobi gubernatorial seat in next elections.<br />
<br />
The polls, which allows people to vote for their prefered choices, saw Waiguru trounce both Sonko and current Gov. Dr Evans Kidero. However, Sonko now says he will stick to his own game plan and let Waiguru win in social media and websites.<br />
<br />
Several close aides to the ‘super’ senator who spoke to this writer claim Waiguru still has a lot to learn about Nairobi politics, and Daily Post is the least of places to get such knowledge.<br />
<br />
“They are ‘voting’ for her from their upper class offices in Nairobi, Nakuru, Nyeri, New York and Washington DC and all these places so she gets the impression she is ahead, but that is the mistake Peter Kenneth made: no Nairobi voters live in New York,” retorted the aide, who requested anonymity because of his close relationship with the office of the devolution secretary.<br />

Another Sonko close associate told this writer to keep in mind the fact that Waiguru had taken Daily Post to court over a slanderous article and that the website is just bidding for her, aware of the ‘shit’ they are in currently.<br />
<br />
“They want to please her. She took them to court,” he claimed. Waiguru has won first round of a case in which she wants google to give the details of the owners of Daily post to facilitate a case she has filed against the website.<br />
<br />
According to handlers of the senator, they are keen to eat into disgruntled ODM supporters disappointed by Governor Evans Kidero’s ‘elitism’ more than concentrating on Waiguru.<br />
<br />
Maintaining the ODM/CORD support which he got in 2013 is important for him, they say, as that will give him a headstart within Jubilee  during party primaries.<br />
<br />
The aides claim Senator Sonko will be better serve the interest of Nairobians than Gov.<br />
<br />
“It is easier for an ODM youth to meet and engage the senator than the governor, even at personal level. Sonko may not be supporting Raila Odinga but he definitely has no issues with ODM supporters in Nairobi,” he said.<br />
<br />
The Nairobi Senator has also dismissed allegations that he printed T-shirts to be distributed in Fidel’s funeral, saying his personal friendship with Fidel would not allow him to play politics in his funeral.
