Avril’s Management Clarifies How Much She Earns Per Event

Today’s Pulse carried a piece on how much artistes and corporate MCs demand and what other extras accompany the cash payments. According to Pulse, Kenya’s self proclaimed number one hype man DNG charges nothing less than KShs 300,000 per gig. Other perks include KQ flights and Specifically luke-warm Dasani bottled water.

For Jalang’o, Pulse put his rate at 200,000 and comedian Obinna at 100,000. Jaguar was placed as the highest grossing artist who puportedly rakes in anything between 3-5 million depending on the geographical location of the gig.

it so happens Avril was rated as 80,000 shilling artiste. She wasn’t consulted on this figure and she took to twitter to sarcastically say she had no idea Pulse are her agents…..

When consulted, Kaka Empire Business Development Manager Dennis Njenga had this to say

We do not agree on the recent article on Pulse magazine published on Friday 8th May 2015.We will be sending out rate cards to the press for all artistes and DJs at Kaka Empire.
