Nairobi senator has pulled a first one on haters by becoming the first kenyan citizen to officially own a customized number plate here in Kenya. His registration number is christened SONKO1.<br />
<br />
Sonko made the statutory payment to KRA three weeks ago and on 30th January 2015 the registrar of motor vehicle issued the customized number plate to the flamboyant senator<br />
I’m the first ever kenyan to be issued with registered customized number plates by Registrar of motor vehicles whose head office is in the Times Towers building, Sonko told journalists at his KICC office.<br />
<br />
The plates were handed over to me by the deputy registrar of motor vehicles Mr. John Muya on Friday 30th January 2015 after payment of a fee of 1m to KRA three weeks ago the flamboyant senator added.<br />
<br />
As the number plate was being fixed on the car by KRA officials hundreds of curious onlookers who were in the vicinity of Times towers gathered and started cheering their feel good senator.<br />
<br />
By Sonko getting the customized plates officially from Regustrar of Motor Vehicles he puts to shame his chief hater Maina Kamanda who only a few weeks ago called on the interior CS Joseph Nkessery to arrest Sonko for being cool!<br />

<b>PRESIDENT Uhuru Kenyatta for the first time has spoken about his former Interior CS Joseph ole Lenku, describing him in an emotional meeting as as an “embarrassment” to his government and the country.</b><br />
<br />
Kenyatta sacked Lenku on December 2 and replaced him with former Kajiado Central MP Joseph Nkaissery. Both men are Maasai.<br />
<br />
The firing followed a series of terrorist attacks and insecurity since Lenku took over in 2013, the latest being massacres in Mandera county by al-Shabaab militia that claimed at least 64 lives.<br />
<br />
At the same time, the President accepted the resignation of Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo, also widely criticised for security failures.<br />
<br />
Kenyatta had some positive words about Kimaiyo when he departed, but he said nothing about Lenku who had lost the public’s confidence.<br />
<br />
The President spoke candidly about Lenku on Monday when he met a delegation of mostly Maasai leaders from Kajiado at State House, Nairobi, to discuss the upcoming Kajiado byelection on March 16 to replace Nkaissery.<br />
<br />
Those in attendance included Nkaissery, Jubilee chief Whip Katoo ole Metito, Kajiado East MP Peris Tobiko, Kajiado Senator Peter Mositet, Kajiado county Assembly Speaker John Osoi, Josiah Tarayia Kores, Kenya Meat Commission Chairman; politician,Solomon Kinyanjui, Kajiado Central aspirant Patrick Tutui (the Jubilee Alliance Party choice and several MCAs.<br />
<br />
Uhuru, according to sources in the two-hour meeting, told Jubilee chief whip Katoo ole Metito; “I am very embarrassed with you. I never knew Joseph ole Lenku, you brought him to me and he caused embarrassment to the nation.”<br />
<br />
The President is reported to have said Lenku failed to perform and accused Metito of misleading him into hiring a person he knew was totally unsuited for the job.<br />
<br />
Metito, a former Internal Security minister, is reported to have asked Uhuru to nominate Lenku to the position soon after elections in 2013. Lenku was nominated in May.<br />
<br />
Yesterday neither Metito nor Lenku responded to calls and text messages seeking comment.<br />
<br />
It is said Uhuru summoned the leaders to State House after they failed to agree on one candidate before the Jubilee Alliance Party nominated Patrick ole Tutui last week.<br />
<br />
The President is also said to have told off Kores, chairman of the Kenya Meat Commission, for “letting me down”.<br />
<br />
He was quoted by a source as saying: “You are no better. You are taking me and the Jubilee Alliance for granted. I gave you a chopper in the last general election to use in the campaigns but you also caused the party to lose the Kajiado Central parliamentary seat and that of governor.<br />
<br />
“I told you to step down for Peter Mositet so Mositet could run for governor’s seat so you could go for the senate seat, but you refused. I am being told you are bragging the Jubilee coalition is your personal property in Kajiado. I do not entertain such nonsense anymore, this party does not belong to you,” an angry Kenyatta is said to have told Kores.<br />
<br />
The President is said to have taken on Kores after Solomon Kinyanjui, who also vied for the senate seat and lost in the last general election, stood up and accused the politician of high-handedness in running of party affairs in Kajiado.<br />
<br />
Kinyanjui told the President that one of the difficulties of persuading people to join the Jubilee Alliance is people like Kores and others who are use the party as their personal property.<br />
<br />
Earlier, Nkaissery had declined to attend the meeting until Purko MCA Samuel Kipaika was removed — the two men do not get along. After consulting Nkaissery, the President asked Kipaika to leave. Other MCAS attending the highly charged meeting included Josiah Toshi, Lesalaon Seki, Joseph Mutunkei and Ntintinyo ole Sere.<br />

Nairobi Senator Mike Mbivi Sonko has said he is ‘not worried’ about Daily Post ‘polls’ which have consistently put Devolution cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru ahead of him in the race for Nairobi gubernatorial seat in next elections.<br />
<br />
The polls, which allows people to vote for their prefered choices, saw Waiguru trounce both Sonko and current Gov. Dr Evans Kidero. However, Sonko now says he will stick to his own game plan and let Waiguru win in social media and websites.<br />
<br />
Several close aides to the ‘super’ senator who spoke to this writer claim Waiguru still has a lot to learn about Nairobi politics, and Daily Post is the least of places to get such knowledge.<br />
<br />
“They are ‘voting’ for her from their upper class offices in Nairobi, Nakuru, Nyeri, New York and Washington DC and all these places so she gets the impression she is ahead, but that is the mistake Peter Kenneth made: no Nairobi voters live in New York,” retorted the aide, who requested anonymity because of his close relationship with the office of the devolution secretary.<br />
<br />
Another Sonko close associate told this writer to keep in mind the fact that Waiguru had taken Daily Post to court over a slanderous article and that the website is just bidding for her, aware of the ‘shit’ they are in currently.<br />
<br />
“They want to please her. She took them to court,” he claimed. Waiguru has won first round of a case in which she wants google to give the details of the owners of Daily post to facilitate a case she has filed against the website.<br />
<br />
According to handlers of the senator, they are keen to eat into disgruntled ODM supporters disappointed by Governor Evans Kidero’s ‘elitism’ more than concentrating on Waiguru.<br />
<br />
Maintaining the ODM/CORD support which he got in 2013 is important for him, they say, as that will give him a headstart within Jubilee  during party primaries.<br />
<br />
The aides claim Senator Sonko will be better serve the interest of Nairobians than Gov.<br />
<br />
“It is easier for an ODM youth to meet and engage the senator than the governor, even at personal level. Sonko may not be supporting Raila Odinga but he definitely has no issues with ODM supporters in Nairobi,” he said.<br />
<br />
The Nairobi Senator has also dismissed allegations that he printed T-shirts to be distributed in Fidel’s funeral, saying his personal friendship with Fidel would not allow him to play politics in his funeral.

Kenya Citizen Coalition that is part of the delegation accompanying President Uhuru Kenyatta to the African Union (AU) summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, has accused the Prosecutor’s Office at the International Criminal Court (ICC) of colluding with Mungiki and Al Shabaab terrorists to terrorize innocent Kenyans.<br />

In a document tabled before African leaders on the sidelines of the 24th Session of the AU Summit, the Kenyan delegation said ICC Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, was responsible for the many terror attacks and Mungiki massacres that have rocked Kenya in her quest to make her case.<br />

The document alleged that Bensouda was working in cahoots with Mungiki and Al Shahaab terror groups to destabilize Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government, and that she is always in constant communication with the two rag-tag groups.<br />

“OTP continues to legitimize criminal groups and embolden them and their off shoots to continue committing crime. Essentially, the ICC could very well be financing terrorism in and around Kenya…in all likelihood, some of these members are part of local network of terror gangs used by Al Shabaab,” the document presented at the AU meeting read.<br />

A few days ago I received a call from a man who Identified himself as Julius, He told me that he had seen the story we had done about Gloria Muliro's Ex Husband.  He said that the article that detailed the kind of man that Eric was was true and that he had more Information to divulge about Spotlight media, A recording studio in Madaraka that is Currenttly owned by Pastor Eric Omba.<br />

<i>Julius Met Eric Omba in September 2013 when he was running  Plus One, a recording studio at Madaraka, Eric Engaged Julius on a project to produce Gloria muliro's videos at 60k for 12 songs,the success production of the music videos made them start working together and Since Julius needed some money to Stabilize the studio Eric volunteered to be a partner with Plus one Studio, he paid the agreed 100k good will fee, signed an agreement and became a partner at the studio. </i><br />

<i>Trouble began almost immediately, Eric was not comfortable with production of secular music in the Studio, he termed it as heretic yet refused to bring the returns he got from production of Gospel music as per the agreement which stated "Either party to give the other 10% of everything recorded in the studio and vice versa"-Eric Omba never honored that.. Around December the same year, Julius needed around 200k to help in organizing Mr and Miss Maseno, He asked Eric for help, Eric gave him a loan of 100k demanded to be given 150k back upon the successful completion of Mr. and Miss Maseno University. </i><br />

<i>Unluckily for Julius, the events was delayed for a while as Singer Ommy Dimpoz had not confirmed his availability, Julius was scandalized, he had spent money on an event that was delayed ,Eric Omba  upon realizing that Julius was cornered started demaning his money back citing that he needed to take care of urgent business "that couldn't wait". But Julius was not in a position to pay untill his event went through.</i><br />

<i>When Julius finally got the money back and decided to pay Eric and dissolve their partnership, Eric refused, saying that the money he was owed was around 200k! His money apparently had doubled- The Nerve! He went on to say that he would  therefore take  over the studio as compensation! Bear in mind that the  studio had equipment valued at 1.3milllion Shillings!</i><br />

<i>He told Julius that his Equipment was old and the money he owed him was enough to buy new equipment, They disagreed and that is when Eric  went to the landlord paid him off and had Julius thrown out. <b>Renowned televangelist, Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a is embroiled in another scandal after his wife, Loise Murugi Maina, accused the flamboyant Pastor of being abusive, adulterous and a drunkard.</b><br />

Murugi, who married Maina on June, 30, 2012, in a flashy wedding at Windsor Golf Club, decided to undress the flashy pastor after they separated last year due to his promiscuity.<br />
<br />
The wife accused Ng’ang’a of sleeping with prostitutes from Koinange streets, visiting strip clubs and sleeping with his staff at Neno Evangelism Centre among other nasty things like fingering women during private prayers.<br />
<br />
“He was a drunkard and very abusive towards me, to the extent of insulting my parents. I also later learnt that he was adulterous, sleeping with staff and even bringing married women to our matrimonial bed,” Murugi said.<br />
<br />
Murugi is now seeking Sh 535,000 monthly in child upkeep for their one year old daughter because she is jobless and she is unable to support the child.

I heard that you banned poor people from your church. Let me get this straight. So you have made your church to be a mini-heaven in which you have chosen to play God. You determine who should enter and who should not. For you the poor are like sinners. They shouldn’t be on your Holy ground.<br />

I think know my bible well and according to Luke Chapter 6 Verse 20, it says, “”Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. "Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied.” And Matthew Chapter 19 Verse 24 says, “ “It’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”<br />

But what you are telling us Reverend Kiuna is that it’s easier for a poor man to enter heaven then to enter your church? Wow.<br />
<br />
It’s sad that we are living in a world where pastors think they can overrule the directives of Jesus Christ. If Jesus the son of God, said something should be this way, what gives you the right to say it should be the other way round Reverend Kiuna? The other day you told women from Eastlands to flee from the broke brothers there and rent SQs in posh estates so that they can eaily settle in the claws of wealthy men. What you are simply saying is wealth is all that matters even when the Lord says it does not. Earthly positions do not necessarily reflect personal value. But according to you, riches are better than a true spirit<br />
<br />
Because of people like you Mrs Kiuna, we are now seeing churches being built entirely on a personality cult; with pastors spoken of in hushed, reverent tones as if they were vying for a spot in the holy trinity itself. Your followers retweet your opinions but rarely quote those of Jesus. They rely on the pastor’s interpretation of the bible instead of cracking it open themselves. That's just sad<br />

One thing I have always known for a fact is that we are all sinners. No matter how wise and visionary the men and women of the cloth might seem, they are all as equally flawed and messy as anyone else in their congregation.<br />
<br />
We do not want religious celebrities. What we want is disciples who spread the word in true fashion. We don’t want pastors who soak up the spotlight and get the lion’s share of glory while leaving Jesus as only a quiet, gracious runner-up.<br />
<br />
I also understand that your church needs money to run effectively Reverend Kiuna but that isn’t a justifiable reason to banish poor people from your church. People who look up to you as a teacher. You preach prosperity and financial nourishment so why not help these poor people to be rich as well instead of showing them that they are good for nothing. Your legacy shouldn’t be on how big a ministry you build or how successful an empire you set up. It should be on how effective you are in handing over the baton of faith to the masses. Metrics should be based on how many people you show the right way to heaven not the right way to earthly glory.<br />
<br />
Let’s just be serious here Reverend Kiuna. It really doesn’t matter how classy your church is. It doesn’t matter who you think should be there and who shouldn’t. That’s God’s call, not your call. He’s the one who will determine who was serious in the congregations and who wasn’t. Jesus wants co-laborers not heroes. He’s the only hero. He’s the only star. He’s not looking for co-stars who make religious decisions on their own. He wants servants who emphasize the principles He has set up. Thank You<br />

There is just too much duplicity, hypocrisy, pretence, two-facedness and insincerity in Kenya’s political arena. I want to dwell on ODM’s double standards. Before you pick issues with my supposed bias against ODM let me help you. There are four coalitions in this country; one is in power, the other is noisy and the rest are quiet.<br />
<br />
I criticize ODM because they always bite more than they can chew. While they are as corrupt and devoid of leadership traits as their compatriots in the Jubilee, they choose to paint a holier than thou picture. ODM claims, among other things, to be the most democratic entity in the country. However, there is nothing in their DNA that is democratic; they are undemocratic to the last man.<br />
<br />
Jubilee is bad and clueless, but they are quiet. ODM, on the other hand, is equally corrupt and insincere but moves from city to city claiming monopoly on good governance. Should I assume that? No, such duplicity MUST be addressed.<br />
<br />
The latest of act of double standards is the ODM nominations, IEBC gave the same time frame to conduct party primaries in Homa Bay and Kajiado Central; well, the Kajiado Central nominations were perfect with no issues WHILE in Homa Bay the party had decided to reward the Kajwang family but pretended to conduct nominations…. the rest is history!<br />
<br />
ODM, under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga seem to operate on zero contact with the government. They have succeeded in painting Jubilee, not as a political opponent, but as an enemy. That is why most supporters will find you uncouth, bitter, and lazy, traitor and a mole if you appear to even remotely support Jubilee.<br />
<br />
To them, there is nothing good that can come for Jubilee unless that thing benefits the leader of ODM. Now, that is where the double standards in ODM starts and ends, with Raila.<br />
<br />
ODM supporters are as forgiving or unforgiving as their leader. They readily excuse Raila’s dealings with the enemy (Jubilee) but cannot stand another person, more a Luo, doing the same.<br />
Examples of double-standards in ODM/CORD<br />
<br />
Dr. Evans Kidero was the first to be branded a mole, a traitor and an enemy. His crime; he accompanied the president to China and UAE instead of travelling with the former Prime Minister to Texas. The fact that he is the governor of Kenya’s capital was ignored and all that remained in the lips of many was how bad he had bitten the fingers that fed him.<br />
<br />
Kidero’s woes were not to end there. The man started conducting fundraisers in Migori and Homabay, a program that didn’t go well with the powers that be at Orange House. An impromptu meeting was convened at Bondo and Kidero’s fundraisers were labelled jubilee frolics meant to undermine ODM leader in Nyanza. The people were incited against him and fundraisers were classified as archaic and incapable of developing an area.<br />
<br />
If you thought ODM leaders were sincerely opposed to fundraisers then think again. During the funeral of the late Sen. Gerald Otieno Kajwang’ (Homabay), the man was celebrated as one who, with the support of Raila, started and completed many projects through Harambees. The crowd went into a frenzy instead of booing the speakers.<br />
<br />
Fundraisers are really good if Raila, his family or cronies are in charge. Otherwise, harambees remain out-dated and must be rejected by all to save the Luo Unity.<br />
<br />
The late Fidel was honoured as a very welcoming person. He knew no political boundaries nor entertained ethnicity. Uhuru and Ruto were his friends. Yes, friends and people were so proud of him for that.<br />
<br />
Ken Obura, George Oner and Dalmas Otieno were removed from committees because just for saying that we must work with the current government. Fidel (the late) is a hero and streets will be named after him not to mention that a trust fund was started for his family yet he was friends with the enemies.<br />
<br />
Alfred Mutua is one Governor CORD doesn’t love. Like others, he has no problem working with the government to develop Machakos. All over sudden he is a thief, the roads don’t last a day and he is the most corrupt of all governors.<br />
<br />
On the other hand, CORD insists that it is Isaac Ruto’s right to work with the opposition. Jubilee are yet to designate Isaac Ruto an enemy combatant, something CORD would have done by now.<br />
<br />
ODM Governor must not at any time have dealings with Uhuru or Ruto. If they do, then the supporters count them as traitors. Interestingly, ODM finds working with Jubilee governors and MPs whenever they have a common goal. To them, the Jubilee Governors and MPs are within their constitutional right to associate with like-minded. The question is who took away that right from CORD legislators and Governors?<br />
<br />
Ababu Namwamba was a mole because he said there must be democracy in ODM. He has since regained his tag ‘Generali’ after he agreed to be an appointed Sec. Gen of ODM as opposed to an elected one. Milly Mabona and Gladys Wanga had to do unimaginable things in parliament to be accepted back into the fold. They had been branded moles for their sentiments and readiness to work with the government<br />
<br />
When the president condoled with Dalmas Otieno, he was seen as a mole and traitor but when the same president gave the ‘Buffallo’ and ‘Air Force One ‘to ferry the body of Fidel and Raila’s family respectively, all you could hear was ‘Ahsante Rais’.<br />
<br />
The ODM high priest condoles with known thugs and members of outlawed sects like Mungiki, attends the burial of radical muslim preachers yet no one finds these strange. Like I said, his ills are readily excused. I don’t even want to imagine what CORD would say or do if Uhuru was in bed with the same people.<br />
<br />
Kalonzo Musyoka was a wishy-washy watermelon traitor until he joined Raila. Today, he is a reformer and champion of democracy. Khalwale used to sing sarcastic songs against Raila and was designated a ‘burukenge’. Today, he is the darling of ODM. All it takes to gain the reformer title is to support Raila.<br />
<br />
Okundi is old and should retire from politics while Raila (who is currently 70) believes he has every right to vie come 2018. He insists that age has nothing to do with leadership when asked to retire. Some people have worked with KANU and are not fit to lead while Raila was once the KANU Sec. General and worked as a minister under Moi yet is deemed fit to be Kenya’s president.<br />

Unless ODM and its leadership stop these double standards they will lose staunch supporters to more tolerant coalitions or parties. You can take that to the bank.<br />
