The Orange Democratic Movement has given President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto an ultimatum to come clean about the recent Garissa terror attack in which 147 students were senselessly massacred by Al Shabaab terrorists in cold blood.
In a statement read on his behalf by ODM Secretary General, Ababu Namwamba, ODM leader Raila Odinga demanded real answers as to why the Jubilee Government could not save students in time and asked Uhuru/,Ruto to tell Kenyans the truth.
He threatened to expose the laxity in Government that led to the killing of 147 students by Al Shabaab if Uhuru/ Ruto will not be honest with Kenyans.
“ODM demands a clear, credible and time-bound programme for restoring security for Kenyans. We demand that Kenyans be told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, on what happened in Garissa,” said Ababu in a statement read on behalf of the party.
Ababu also opposed the construction of the 700km wall between the Kenyan border with Somalia to keep Al Shabaab terrorists at bay saying no wall is long enough or strong enough to stop terrorists from infiltrating the country and killing Kenyans.
