A Jubilee Alliance Senator has threatened to call for a country wide boycott by women against any bedroom privileges over gender indifference in our state and public corporations.

Addressing a panel of Senators during the ongoing 2nd Devolution Conference in Kisumu, nominated Senator Zipporrah Kittony threatened to call for a nationwide strike by women and will ask them to close their legs and “we will see what men will do”.

She said the one-third gender rule must be followed to ensure women are represented in all private and public sectors.

Kittony said men should cease contradicting themselves because what they speak during public forums is different from what they speak when they are in bedrooms.

“You cannot love us at home but when it comes to national leadership you do not want us to participate,” Kittony said.

A section of CORD Senators led by Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, and his Kisumu counterpart, Prof Anyang Nyongo, opposed the idea and said men should not be denied their rights over the third gender rule.
