President Uhuru yesterday flew back in the country some minutes to midnight and revealed his travel route was dangerous – as he would have flown over the war-zone that is Yemen. The President was allegedly on Kenya Airforce jet.

However, many citizens are left wondering how handlers of the President would have made such an obvious error of judgement considering the war in Yemen has been going on for months now.

The Presidency, to cyberspace rumours, had this to say on the President’s Facebook page:

I left Nairobi last evening for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, where I was to connect to a commercial flight to Los Angeles. Following reports of increased military activity in Yemen, there was a challenge on the routing leading to a decision to turn back. I touched ground at JKIA just before midnight.

However, sources not close to state house now reveal the President may have wanted to catching someone ‘unaware’. Other sources claim the President may have realised the whole trip to the US may not be important after all. Kenya Today is following several leads
