yesterday i went to tusky's Embakasi and did my shopping.i was given a bill of 5700 which i paid using my credit card and left wondering how come my shopping was so huge.

i loaded my shopping in the car and decided to check my receipt.only to find the second item was girls shoes worth 820.mind you I DONT HAVE A GIRL AND TUSKYS EMBAKASI DOES NOT EVEN STOCK SHOES.

so i checked my shopping for any shoes and there were none.I went back in to ask and a guy took me to the cashier who had served me.his name is MOSETI.He said that may be it was another item giving a different name and he needed to run the items again to check.so the guy and me went for the shopping .He run the items and none could give that name and he found that all the items had been charged.the told me that i will be given a credit note to be refunded.

They hurriedly gave me back my money as if they were trying to cover up.no explanation was given.i asked them how many customers who had not checked the receipt had been charged and the couldn't answer. No apologies were given and no explanations.Nobody even helped me to take the shopping back to the car.

This is a scheme which must be stopped.how many customers do they steal from daily and especially during Christmas when people do huge shopping.?what if i dint check the receipts?be careful guys always confirm your receipts and your items.Be warned.i have reported them to cofek as well.

  6. Thy know what they are doing...stealing from innocent customer and they dont apologies and no good relation..that money was in someones pocket...if Moseti gets 820 x 5 customers everyday he wil buy plot ...poor as we r...you could have taken them to embakasi police station its 4 min drive...Shame shame Tuskys

  7. am a cashier @tuskys and honestly the cashier was innocent neither was he trying to steal from the customer...if he had already finished the transaction then the money was heading to the accounts of tuskys, this happens because of the pressure we get from the directors people,we always depend on you to support. us rather than the directors because if the cashier was performing his duties freely without pressure i don think it could have occured

Everyone is on a tifht budget and its extremely bad and cynical not take responsibility. Hope it doesnt happen to me coz the drama il cause.no one wants to imgn.

  8. I know many such scandals go unreported. Sometimes they are run by the top managements and sometimes they are done by such individuals especially the cashiers with the help of the other staff members. I believe its not very difficult to stick the rfid code on his hand and run it 'innocently' while passing your items then remove his 'harvest' before handing over day's sales cash to the management...just thinking

  10. While I agree that the supermarkets may have a scam, it is your responsibility as a buyer to track your own expenses and review your receipt before leaving the supermarket.

  12. For those who buy the 20litre bottled water and exchange empty containers, ensure the 1000/= deposit is deducted from your final bill. Had two incidences in Nakumatt where the cashiers suspiciously failed to deduct this amount.

  13. They should be ashamed and its time we consumers speak out boldly whenever such sinister motives are noted. Its buyer beware

Went to TUSKYS BURU BURU and shopped but next day I checked my receipt only to discover that every time I shopped, my points were credited to another shopper's card. i went back and brought up the issue, they confirmed and took the card back for a couple of days and brought it back claiming that it had a virus!!!!! smells funny, doesn't it Tuskys????
