Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s dreams of becoming the Commander in Chief of Armed Forces may come to pass if what Siaya Senator, James Orengo and former Presidential hopeful Martha Karua are planning is successful.
In a document seen by our team, Kenya’s best lawyers among them Orengo, Karua, Wachira Maina, George Kegoro and election experts are planning to meet on Tuesday to discuss the controversial Supreme Court judgment of the 2013 Presidential Elections.
The conference is supported by Kenyans for Peace with Truth and Justice (KPTJ) and the Africa Centre for Open Governance (AfriCOG).
In a statement to news rooms, Africog Director, Gladwell Otieno, said the lawyers will peruse through the controversial Supreme Court ruling that was in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013.
Otieno said the lawyers will also look into why the Supreme Court dismissed the 900 page CORD dossier that would have changed the 2013 election outcome.
The conference comes a month after Karua who is also the Narc Kenya party leader told Kenyans that Raila won the 2013 elections but the Judiciary and IEBC rigged him out.
