Kenyan spy arrested in Netherlands and deported while trying to meet ICC witness in RUTO’s case
A senior National Intelligence Service (NIS) official has been arrested in Netherlands trying to meet International Criminal Court (ICC) witnesses in the case facing Deputy President William Ruto and his co-accused Joshua Sang.
The senior Intelligence official was arrested in Netherlands following a tip off from the Victims and Witness Protection Unit (VWU).
The official is alleged to have gone to Netherlands to try to bribe some witnesses in the case facing Ruto and Sang.
Impeccable sources say the man was immediately deported to Kenya after the Government intervened and the Netherlands did not want a stand-off with Kenyan authorities.
Ruto and Sang were indicted by ICC court in connection with the 2007-08 post election violence where 1,300 people died and over half a million displaced.
Currently, the case is at a critical stage and Jubilee Government operatives are in panic mode following reports that Ruto and Sang may be jailed for some time for committing heinous crimes.
