Renowned city lawyer, Ahmednassir Abdullahi, has trashed former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga’s Okoa Kenya referendum as a wish list of losers who want to take power through the backdoor.
Venting on social media, Ahmednassir blasted former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, former Vice
President, Kalonzo Musyoka and Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula calling tem political conmen who want to re-write the Constitution, through Okoa Kenya, to seize power through unconstitutional means.
“Okoa Kenya’s proposed change are wish list of losers who want to rewrite the rules of the game & is informed by the desire to parachute into power,” said Ahmednassir.
He termed the three as a bunch of losers saying no matter what they do, they will never rule Kenya as President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, were firmly in charge of the country.
He also accused the CORD leaders of being masters of double speak saying despite having supported the Constitution and having ruled the country under the very Constitution in the Grand Coalition Government, they still want to change it because it does not favour them today.
“Raila Kalonzo & Wetangula gave Kenya a beautiful Constitution. They ruled under the new constitution. They want to rewrite it to take power,’ he said.
Nassir also took issue with Narc Kenya Leader, Martha Karua, accusing her of blowing hot air over reforms in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
He said Karua had no moral authority to demand for electoral reforms because she did nothing to reform the electoral body when she was in a position to do so.
“Didn’t Martha Karua have a lifetime chance to reform IEBC? Why is she now telling us that there shall be no need to go to elections with the current IEBC?” asked Ahmednassir.
During the launch of Okoa Kenya referendum bill, Karua said “Unless we reform the electoral system, there shall be no need to go to elections.”
