What the University female student wrote on facebook that had her arrested

Just two weeks after 25 year old, Allan Wadi, was sentenced to 2 years in jail for abusing President Uhuru Kenyatta, another university student may be on her way to prison.


Nancy Mbindala, a student from Mt. Kenya University was recently presented before the court for messages she posted online about Embu County Governor, Martin Wambora, and his system of governance.

These are the two posts she wrote on social media in February last year.

“Wambora is just a full stop compared 2 me. my doing with 1 mth will be lyk what Wambora was 2 cover 45 years.”

 “Kama huwezi mpea mtu mafuuthi kwa hii gova ya embu (If you can’t give someone pubic hair in the Embu government) don’t ask about job/tender ... even the gavana ni mtu n deals win-win scenarios wifes always labelled youth.”
