My estate pubs are having booming business. Normally, they have to wait till the weekend to attract any reasonable number of customers, but yesterday and I suppose until next week, the story is very different.

What surprises me is that most of those drinking the whole day do not look very wealthy. Most are actually poor, and perhaps that inspired the maker of this meme – The December Budget.
