Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, on Friday told mourners in Kisumu that his son, Fidel Odinga did not die a natural death.

Addressing mourners during the public viewing of Fidel Odinga’s body at Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground in Kisumu, Raila said his son did not show any signs of ailment prior to his death.

“Fidel did not die a natural death. We are looking forward to a report on investigations into his death as promised by the Government yesterday (Thursday),” Raila said.

With his usual rhetoric and political antics, Raila said Fidel’s death may be the beginning of “something else and we must remain steadfast.”

“We know where we are coming from and where we are going. Let Fidel’s death not distract our agenda,” Raila said thanking Kenyans for mourning with him since the day Fidel died.

Fidel, 41, was found dead on Sunday morning at his residence in Karen.  Pathologists are yet to establish what caused his untimely death.
