Honestly, sometimes the Deputy President of Kenya mesmerizes me on the things he says. When he takes it to the rostrum to indecorously say that ladies must be afforded the freedom of habiliment, again demonstrates that governance in Kenya is not directed at moral improvement of the people but the improvement and sustenance of the few at the helm of affairs.
Strikingly, by supporting the semi-naked attired ladies and fuelling their immorality, Mr. Ruto clearly buttresses the assertions that our system of governance has been turned into you rub-my-back-I-rub-your-back charade.
Kenya’s system of governance is here to ensure that the will of God is not only thwarted, but permanently buried. This is a shame and the international community must surely be marveled at our brand of leadership.
The implication of this rape on morals and values of Christianity by Mr. Ruto perhaps at the behest of his master, is that the government wants to be reelected and therefore emasculate women and use them as a shield.
The immodest call by Mr. Ruto is ethically ungraspable and uncalled for because it will promote rape and frottage. Mr. Ruto should go public, apologize and withdraw what he said. From my professional point of view, Ruto’s utterances were not a slip of the tongue, but a slip of the mind.
Naturally, men are malleable to what they see. Thus, women should dress decently to avoid attracting indecent acts. William Ruto must go public and apologize to all Kenyans for making this country a sub-hell.
