Don’t get me wrong, I totally am not supportive of a crowd that takes matters into there own hand to strip a lady because of what in their view is indecent dressing especially what happened at the EmbaSsava stage and in Coast as it was wrong and extreme.. but at the same time ladies let’s be mindful of how we dress.. A short dress/skirt/short is OK to wear and rock but then again there’s a level of short that is just a no no especially during the day.. Anything you wear that is just an inch or two below your bum is unacceptable during the day and out in public.. It could even lead you to get gang rapped as it could be viewed as provocative..
As we rally for the #MyDressMyChoice mantra let’s also be mindful of what we choose to display..
I always say if you wear something that you keep pulling at the hem as you walk or adjust it to be longer then it means you ain’t comfortable in it yourself and it’s likely to attract the wrong kind of attention..
