According to sources, Chidi was arrested on 24th October 2014 with 14 pieces of Heroine weighting about 0.85 grams worth approximately KES. 1,987 (Tsh. 38,000) and two rolls of Bhang' (Marijuana) worth KES. 52 (Tsh. 1,000).
He was released today on a bond of KES. 52,298 (Tsh. 1,000,000) posted by two guarantors , awaiting for his case to be heard on November 11th, 2014.
Chidi is one of the biggest artists in East Africa's and has done major collabo's with other big names in the region producing major hits with the likes of Nonini (get down) and his latest hit 'Mpaka Kuchee' with Diamond & A.Y earlier this year.
He seems to have fallen prey to the universal trap that has gotten so many artists on both the international and local scene into trouble and even behind bars for a long time ruining their careers.
